Strawberry Amazake Smoothie

Crafted from strawberries grown by local farmers and
amazake produced by a sake brewery with a history of over 300 years

The 'Strawberry Amazake Smoothie,' which combines vitamin C-rich strawberries with a blend of amazake rich in nutrients such as glucose, oligosaccharides, dietary fiber, and B vitamins, often referred to as 'drinkable IV,' has been crafted to allow a broader audience to enjoy its taste while preserving the essence of amazake's flavor.

To make amazake, which is already good for your body, even more enjoyable, they have transformed the characteristic granular texture of koji amazake into a paste. Additionally, they have increased the strawberry content to 2.5 times that of amazake, making it suitable for those who may not be fond of amazake.
With an abundance of strawberries, it offers a delightful flavor that will satisfy strawberry enthusiasts.

Speciality of Strawberry

It is a blend of six different types of strawberries cultivated in their farm: 'Kaori-no,' 'Shouhime,' 'Benihoppe,' 'Yotsuboshi,' 'Yayoihime,' and 'Tenshi-no-Ichigo.'
Each batch varies slightly in taste, making it a unique and ever-changing creation.

What is indispensable in the strawberry greenhouse is the optimal cultivation environment.
By creating the ideal conditions, they can produce delicious strawberries.
In their garden, they not only employ automation to constantly create the optimal environment but also utilize a field environment monitoring system called the 'Aggregator' to monitor the conditions within the greenhouse at all times.
They are prepared to respond promptly to even the slightest environmental changes.

The Excellence of the Base Amazake

Amazake crafted utilizing the expertise cultivated over more than 320 years by Kitsukura Sake Brewery, located in the eastern part of Nagano Prefecture.
Made exclusively with Japanese sourced rice and the pristine waters from the Yatsugatake mountain range and the Chikuma River underground stream, renowned for their quality.
Prepared using a time-honored method that eschews any additives, it offers the natural and gentle flavors inherent to koji.
The base amazake is so delicious that it's said to make it difficult to enjoy any other amazake

Collaborating for a Delicious Innovation

While feeling that existing processed products such as jams and sauces made with strawberries left something to be desired, they had the opportunity to meet Mr. Ide, the president of Kitsukura Sake Brewery, a renowned sake brewery in Saku City, Nagano Prefecture.
This encounter led to the concept of 'Strawberry Amazake Smoothie.'
They took frozen strawberries to a processing facility, and they had numerous discussions about the quantity and taste of amazake.

To make it accessible to those who may not appreciate the distinctive aroma of amazake, they increased the amount of strawberries while subtly preserving the essence of amazake's fragrance.
Additionally, they considered ease of consumption by finely grinding the rice grains, resulting in the creation of 'Strawberry Amazake Smoothie.'
They hope it becomes a go-to option for those feeling a bit tired or too busy for breakfast!

It's well-received

"Very delicious! Regular amazake tends to be too sweet, and I often get tired of it halfway through. However, Strawberry Amazake not only has the sweetness of strawberries but also a hint of acidity, making it very easy to drink."

"It had a syrupy sweetness, similar to what you'd drizzle over ice cream, but being in smoothie form made it easy to consume."

"I usually don't like the taste of regular amazake and don't drink it, but Strawberry Amazake doesn't taste like amazake at all, and I enjoyed it. It felt more like drinking yogurt than amazake."

"It could work as a dessert on its own, not just as amazake. It might be nice to mix it with brandy or dilute it with soda."
