Mr. Kosho has been indispensable in introducing Japan's finest alcohol to Singapore and has garnered acclaim at esteemed competitions.

With meticulous attention to quality, he personally tastes every alcohol he imports, leveraging his connections to directly request breweries to bring them to Singapore.

 Japanese breweries are famously selective, but Mr. Kosho's expertise and dedication has made him a trusted partner, which allows him to leverage his networks to bring in the best of Japan’s alcoholic offerings to Singapore as an official distributor.

His accolades include honors from prestigious organizations like the Japan Bartenders Association and the World Bartenders Association. Additionally, until 2005, he served as the Deputy Director of External Affairs for the Kanto Branch of the Japan Sommelier Association.

Nestled within the Sato Maru district of Tonami City, Toyama Prefecture, stands Wakatsuru Shuzo, a revered sake brewery established in 1862. The story of Sato Maru Distillery then began in 1952 when Wakatsuro Shuzo, known for its sake and shochu production, acquired a license to distill whisky.

Since its inception in 1952, Sato Maru Distillery has been dedicated to crafting whiskies with a distinctive smoky aroma.
Continuing to operate as a craft distillery, it proudly spreads the allure of whisky from the region of Toyama.
