Meet Mr. Kosho, Our Expert Sommelier

Mr. Kosho has been indispensable in introducing Japan's finest alcohol to Singapore and has garnered acclaim at esteemed competitions.

With meticulous attention to quality, he personally tastes every alcohol he imports, leveraging his connections to directly request breweries to bring them to Singapore.

 Japanese breweries are famously selective, but Mr. Kosho's expertise and dedication has made him a trusted partner, which allows him to leverage his networks to bring in the best of Japan’s alcoholic offerings to Singapore as an official distributor.

His accolades include honors from prestigious organizations like the Japan Bartenders Association and the World Bartenders Association. Additionally, until 2005, he served as the Deputy Director of External Affairs for the Kanto Branch of the Japan Sommelier Association.

Located in Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, at the base of the Southern Alps, is the Hakushu Distillery. Enveloped by a vast forest spanning approximately 820,000 square meters and blessed with pristine air and numerous clear streams, this distillery continues to craft whisky amidst nature's bounty.
