Your Freezer, Your Little Ramen Shop.
Five different bowls from TORASHO, KEISUKE and KAJIKEN, brought together in one tasting set.

The soup, the noodles, the chashu.
Our much-loved Whole Frozen Ramen series brings them together in a bowl developed with restaurant chefs, then frozen for you to enjoy at home.
The series has grown a little at a time, so we’ve put five varieties together in a tasting set.

Creamy tonkotsu. Spicy tonkotsu with a good kick of chilli. Iekei ramen with the savoury depth of soy sauce. A generous JIRO-style bowl filled with noodles and toppings. And Taiwan mazesoba, made for mixing.

Open the freezer and think, “Which one shall I have today?”
I rather like the idea of having that choice at home.
◎ Made Together with Restaurant Chefs
We work with Japanese restaurant chefs here in Singapore to create these frozen bowls.
The broth matters, of course. But so do the bite of the noodles, the tenderness of the chashu, and how everything tastes together once it’s heated.
For the soup ramen, the broth, noodles and main toppings are frozen together. Take the frozen block straight from the freezer and place it in a pot. There’s no water to add. As the broth melts, the noodles gradually loosen.
The Taiwan mazesoba is warmed in the microwave, then mixed with its accompanying sauce.
A few simple steps, and a hot bowl is ready.
1. TORASHO Frozen Tonkotsu Ramen
This was where our frozen ramen series began.
A creamy Hakata-style pork bone broth, with savoury depth and the aroma of garlic. Rich, without feeling too heavy, it’s the sort of soup you’ll want another spoonful of after a mouthful of noodles.
The tender chashu has a lightly charred, smoky flavour.
Try this alongside the spicy version. It’s interesting how different the same tonkotsu base can feel with the addition of chilli.

2. TORASHO Frozen Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen
Creamy tonkotsu, with a generous kick of chilli.
You can still taste the mellow richness of the pork broth beneath the heat. Each mouthful of noodles brings the two together.
If you like your ramen spicy, this is one to try.

3. KEISUKE Frozen Iekei Tonkotsu Ramen
Thick, creamy tonkotsu shoyu broth, with thick noodles to match.
The pork bone broth has plenty of depth, with the savoury flavour and aroma of soy sauce. It clings to the noodles, so each mouthful brings that rich soup together with a satisfying bite.
And then there’s the garlic, packed separately for you to add. Start with a little, mix it into the hot broth, and taste. It adds a punch of flavour that goes so well with the thick soup and noodles.
Five sheets of nori complete the bowl. Dip them into the broth and enjoy them with the noodles.

4. TORASHO “JIRO” Mega Tonkotsu
A full kilogram of noodles, broth and toppings. You’ll feel its weight when you lift it out of the freezer.
The broth brings together pork and chicken, soy sauce, garlic and pork fat. Thick noodles made with Hokkaido wheat have a firm, satisfying chew.
Then there’s the thick-cut pork belly chashu, cabbage and bean sprouts. As everything heats, the vegetables soften and add a little sweetness to the broth.
It’s one I’d really like you to try at least once. Once you taste that rich, savoury broth, you’ll understand why you keep wanting it again.

5. KAJIKEN Whole Frozen Taiwan Mazesoba
This one brings something different to the set.
Warm noodles, spicy minced pork, chives and spring onion, mixed with KAJIKEN’s savoury sauce.
Mix well, lifting from the bottom until the sauce and minced pork coat the noodles. That’s the key to enjoying this bowl.
The flavour of the pork, the chilli heat and the fragrance of the chives come together in each mouthful. Try a little of the accompanying vinegar or chilli oil partway through, and see how the flavour changes.

How to Prepare
◎ How to Prepare TORASHO Tonkotsu & Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen
Both go straight from the freezer into a pot. No thawing or added water is needed.
-
Remove the packaging and set the separately packed nori aside.
-
Place the frozen block of broth, noodles and toppings directly into a pot and turn on the heat.
-
As the broth melts, let the noodles loosen naturally. Once they begin to separate, gently ease them apart with chopsticks.
-
Allow approximately 8 minutes. Once the broth is boiling, the noodles have separated and the chashu is hot all the way through, transfer everything to a bowl.
-
Add the nori and enjoy while hot.
◎ How to Prepare KEISUKE Iekei Tonkotsu Ramen
Heat straight from frozen, without adding water.
-
Remove the packaging and set the separately packed nori and garlic aside.
-
Place the frozen block of broth, noodles and toppings directly into a pot and turn on the heat.
-
As the broth melts, gently loosen the noodles with chopsticks.
-
Allow approximately 6–7 minutes. Once the broth is boiling and the noodles and toppings are hot all the way through, transfer everything to a bowl.
-
Add the nori and as much garlic as you like.
Try the broth first, then add the garlic little by little.
◎ How to Prepare TORASHO “JIRO” Mega Tonkotsu
Choose a large pot with enough room for the frozen block and space above it for the broth to boil. No thawing or added water is needed.
-
Remove the packaging and set the separately packed garlic and nori aside.
-
Place the frozen block of broth, noodles, chashu and vegetables directly into the pot.
-
Heat over high heat to melt the broth. Reduce the heat if it begins to boil up towards the rim.
-
Once the noodles start to separate naturally, gently loosen them with chopsticks. Move the toppings around so everything heats evenly.
-
When the broth is boiling, the noodles have separated, and the thick chashu and vegetables are hot all the way through, transfer to a large bowl.
-
Finish with the garlic and nori.
This is a much larger bowl, so it takes longer to heat than the regular tonkotsu. Check that the centre is fully heated before serving, even if the broth around the edges is already boiling.
◎ How to Prepare KAJIKEN Taiwan Mazesoba
This bowl is warmed in the microwave.
-
Remove the separate packets of sauce, vinegar and chilli oil. Do not put these packets in the microwave.
-
Keeping the packets sealed, place them in cold water to thaw.
-
Place the noodles and toppings in a microwave-safe container and cover loosely with microwave-safe wrap.
-
Heat at 800W for approximately 5–5½ minutes. Check the centre, and add short bursts of heating if it is still cold.
-
Pour the thawed sauce over the hot noodles. Mix thoroughly from the bottom until the noodles are evenly coated with the sauce and minced pork.
-
Add vinegar and chilli oil a little at a time, to your taste.
I’d try it with just the sauce first, then add the vinegar or chilli oil along the way.
