This pizza is handmade by Chef Takashi Okuno and the team at LUKA.
Garlic butter shrimp, mozzarella and cheddar on LUKA’s crisp and chewy handmade dough.
It's rich and buttery, with the aroma of garlic coming through as it bakes.
The garlic butter brings a rich, savoury aroma, while the shrimp stays juicy and tender.
Mozzarella and cheddar melt into the light tomato base, with fresh basil adding a fragrant finish.
Why the Dough Is Different
The dough is made with Italian flour and wild yeast, then slowly fermented and stretched by hand.
Each pizza is baked in a 500°C stone oven, giving the crust a lightly crisp exterior while keeping the inside soft and chewy.
Once baked, it is quickly frozen to preserve the texture and flavour until you are ready to enjoy it at home.
Garlic Butter Shrimp, Mozzarella & Cheddar
The shrimp is coated in rich garlic butter, then paired with mozzarella, cheddar, tomato sauce and fresh basil.
The two cheeses bring creaminess and depth, while the tomato sauce keeps the richness balanced.
And once it starts baking, the smell of garlic butter is hard to resist.
From Freezer to Table
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Remove the pizza from its packaging.
- Lightly spray or sprinkle water over the entire surface. This helps prevent the dough from drying out and brings back its soft, chewy texture.
- Bake for approximately 8 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted.
Best served hot, with the cheese still bubbling and the aroma of garlic butter coming through.
No Oven?
You can also heat the pizza in a frying pan.
- Remove the pizza from the freezer and leave it at room temperature until naturally thawed.
- Place the thawed pizza in a frying pan and cover with a lid.
- Heat over low heat until the cheese is completely melted and the base is crisp.
This method gives the base a little extra crispness while keeping the dough soft and chewy inside.
