One will think it's made from lychee but this fragrance comes from the ‘Koujuku-imo’ (sweet potato), developed using a new aging method.
It's flavour and aroma are as if it is not distilled from sweet potato at all!
The lychee sweetness appears with a fruity and floral flavours of rose, pear and apple!
DAIYAME starts off sweet and mellow, ending with a crispy aftertaste.

RAW INGREDIENTS from Kagoshima prefecture
We are particular about raw materials from Kagoshima prefecture.
In order to produce the aroma of DAIYAME, the first condition is that the sweet potatoes must have a good flavor as authentic shochu.

Each fresh sweet potato is carefully hand-picked and brewed from the beginning of the Obon festival to December.
