Real Kyoto Uji Matcha
Authentic Uji Matcha that you can feel the true taste of Tradition
Partnering with Shonanen, we can offer high quality matcha powder at an amazing price!
Uji Matcha, known as the pinnacle of matcha tea, is meticulously crafted with great attention to detail. This is crafted at a level highly favoured by professionals specifically for Tea Ceremony purposes.
Also it's made without the use of any artificial additives or colour enhancers like Chlorella. It is purely "100% Uji Matcha from Kyoto Prefecture."
By utilising whole tea leaves, Uji Matcha retains concentrated flavours and nutrients, making it an excellent choice for traditional matcha tea preparations.
Additionally, it leaves a robust taste when used in lattes or culinary applications.
Value of "Uji" Matcha
To ensure the authenticity of Uji matcha, strict regulations are in place to protect its quality and origin.
Uji, Kyoto is the home of matcha cultivation since 16th century.
A comprehensive perspective of history, culture, geography, and weather makes Uji tea cultivation well known.
According to the Kyoto Prefecture Tea Industry Association, Uji tea is also produced in the four prefectures - Kyoto, Nara, Shiga, and Mie, harvested and processed by a company in Kyoto.
However, only green tea harvested and produced in Uji can be branded "Kyoto Uji matcha".
Even if the tea is grown in Nara, Shiga or Mie Prefecture, plucked and processed by a Kyoto-based company, it can be only called "Uji matcha”.

It's highly received in Japan!
“The color is beautiful and the taste and aroma are good.
The matcha was very fine and dissolved quickly in hot water, leaving no residue.
I drink matcha with every meal, so I buy more when it runs out.
It's amazing that you can buy matcha of this quality for this price.”
“I love Starbucks matcha lattes, and I wanted to make my own at home.
And I found this one with good reviews.
The matcha aroma and taste are great, and it's easier to use than other matcha I've bought. It's also easy to dissolve.
This product tasted better than the matcha lattes I buy from convenience stores."
