Unique Characteristic of Yuzu shu

Yuzu is rich in vitamins and is said to be good for health and beauty.

With collagen and three times as much vitamin C as a lemon, it’s easy to see the appeal! The seeds are preserved in sake for skin toning and to treat irritation, and its oil is used as a common fragrance.

The moment you open it, the scent of yuzu spreads all over the area. Often described as a combination of lemon, lime, and grapefruit, the Yuzu fruit resembles a cross between a lemon and grapefruit. Yuzu shu has a bright, citrusy flavour, tangy acidity, and subtle sweetness which make it a refreshing choice for summertime sipping.

The refreshing aroma of Yuzu has a relaxing effect, making it effective for stress relief and rejuvenation. Drinking it as a dessert after a meal or during relaxation time will help soothe both your body and mind.

Ways to enjoy

Yuzu shu is often served chilled and enjoyed as a digestif or as a refreshing drink during the warmer months. Yuzu shu can also be used in cocktails, adding a unique citrus twist to classic drinks like martinis and margaritas.
